Shegee Styla storms Pluzz FM, Adjudged as the Best Female Dancehall Artiste Standing in Ghana The night of Friday, 16th October, 2015 was blissful and a time of justification and the whole of Ghana and beyond came to a standstill, everywhere you find yourself, all listenership via traditional radio transmission and Web radio was geared towards one station called PLUZZ 89.9 FM (www.pluzz899.com) simply because the Shegee Styla, GODMOTHER of Ghana Reggae Dancehall was in the studio to grace a show called ‘Friday Popping’.
The 3 hour program scheduled from 7pm to 10pm GMT was hosted by Sir KAY (Don’t ask Why) and Mr. SHARK (Shark Attack). The show started with an upcoming artiste Ace Morgan which was impressive but when the Godmother arrived around 8pm, she was eventually met with a standing ovation and applauds, instantly the atmosphere in the studio changed signifying moment of glorification for real talent to be displayed.
Shegee Styla started her interview by answering questions from the host, Sir KAY and after a while, another set of artistes including OgunsKele (2Toff fame) joined her in the studio for a freestyle collaboration. Oh goodness, the whole show was spiced up and Shegee Styla got an invitation from Ogunskele to grace his upcoming event on Saturday. Ogunskele described Shegee Styla as is too talented and the best female dancehall artiste currently in Ghana while Grey (mobile boyz fame) also endorsed Shegee Styla as the true dancehall goddess. After the two left, another set of artistes rushed in upon hearing she was in the studio, it was KONFI and producer MixMasta Gazy. It was also a great scene because those artists KONFI were Shegee Styla’s juniors back in Senior High School all representing SWESCO.
Bringing the program to closure, the host confessed and said the show was the best show so far he has hosted and had almost 600 whatsapp messages he couldn’t read out but all those messages was headed towards the Godmother… As at the time writing this report, Sent One Entertainment has confirmed that many newspapers’ editors, radio presenters and DJs, TV presenters and event organizers have started contacting her management to arrange her for events and same interviews… The GODMOTHER in her closing words “thanked the Almighty God and dedicated her new reggae song titled “SURVIVAL” to her loyal fans and all Ghetto Youth worldwide.” Watch the pictures to see what happened
